We don’t have a choice. If you buy Huawei, Kirin is the best. If you buy anything else, Snapdragon is best. However, if you are a phone company and are planing to manufacture your phone and have access to both the processor, then lets dig deeper.

The Snapdragon 845 is much better then the others. Snapdragon is a much larger company, dedicated to making processors.It spends way more money and time into R&D, and also has way more experience as the others are relatively new companies.The SD 845 is not only faster in the CPU side, it''''''''''''s especially better when it comes to the GPU, and so it''''''''s great for PUBG addicts :) I''''m not saying that the other CPU''''s are bad, they''''''re also quite fast, but not as good as the SD 845. Kirin is huawei’s Soc so obviously it is more optimised for their phones including the honor lineup and their Mali gpu is also pretty close in benchmarks with adreno. Power consumption is moreover the same. Thermals look better for the Kirin chip . This shouldn''''t be a deciding factor in buying your smartphone according to me and since huawei makes great smartphones it is as good as a bet as the other.

Both the processor Brands and their processor are good.You can choose any of them. But kirin processor are only found in Huawei and Honor Phones so there is a limitation.

Both of these processors are good in their own aspects.But I will always go for Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.The reason is.most of mobile brands are using Snapdragon processors in their both midrangers and flagship phones. Snapdragon processors are both powerful and power efficient which makes them special and first preference for a buyer!!But Kirin processors are used mostly by Huawei itself which is the manufacturer itself too.Its processors are good in power but not as good as Qualcomm Snapdragon!!!

Answer to this question is a bit tricky. While High end Snapdragon processors have more computing power and more graphics power than the High end Kirin processor, its the optimisation that makes Kirin a bit better performer. Kirin is an in house processor made for Huawei Phones. So Huawei can pull every string to optimise that processor for their phone. And that''''s what they do. One more thing, if you would like to install a custom ROM when your phone gets old, then go with the phone with Snapdragon Processor as there are no ROMs available for Kirin processors.
